What you might hear on any given Tuesday:
“I need ID today, so I can start work tomorrow.”
“I came in because I need prayer. I’m beginning to lose faith. Will you pray for me?”
“I just got the job! I start tomorrow. I was wondering how I was going to feed my three kids. God is good!”
“Hi Dad. I just want to tell you to tell your wife you love her. Every time she leaves the house and you are not going with her…make sure you tell her that you love her.”
“No, no, no!” “Are you okay?” “Yes, I am okay.”
“What day can I get a haircut?”
“Do you have any black pants in my size? I just got a job!”
All on an average Tuesday, with 98 served. People think our guests come for food, showers, rest and resources. We think it’s because God has brought them to us to be loved. “For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14
